Ladakh sends first consignment of Lilium flowers from world's highest-altitude flower field
Ladakh dispatched its first consignment of 15,000 A-grade Lilium stems from KBR Airport, Leh, to major Indian markets. The flowers were grown at Choglamsar's flower field at 10,600 ft (3,265 m), described as the world's highest-altitude flower field, which holds over 25 lakh Liliums. The initiative opens a new high-value income avenue for the region's growers.
