The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister announced new industrial projects for the State. SIPCOT will set up a Semiconductor and Electronics Manufacturing Park at Maduramangalam in Kancheepuram at a cost of ₹175 crore. A Coimbatore FinTech Hub will be developed through TIDCO under the Public-Private Partnership model at ₹400 crore. A Multi-Modal Logistics Hub will come up in the Tiruchi region to support industries and SMEs, and a new supercritical thermal power station will be built in Thoothukudi to add to the State's power capacity.
