The Greater Chennai Corporation conducted Pink Pulse 2026, an online programme to spread awareness about breast cancer among the public. It was organised jointly with the Department of Radiation Oncology of the Tamil Nadu Government Multi Super Speciality Hospital in Chennai. The initiative used a virtual format to reach people with information on the disease, and reflects collaboration between the city's civic body and a state-run super speciality hospital.
