Motorcycle maker Royal Enfield has announced an investment of ₹2,200 crore to build a new manufacturing facility at Satyavedu in Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh. This will be the company's first production plant located outside Tamil Nadu, where all its existing manufacturing has so far been concentrated. The move marks a major expansion of the company's production base into a neighbouring southern State and is significant for industrial investment trends in South India.
