India and the Netherlands have signed a Letter of Intent for technical cooperation on the Kalpasar Project in Gujarat. Kalpasar is a multipurpose project of the Gujarat government that envisages building a dam across the Gulf of Khambhat. The Netherlands, known for its long experience in water management and coastal engineering, is expected to share technical expertise for the project under this arrangement.
