The Nyaya Setu AI Chatbot was unveiled by the Vice-President together with the Union Minister of Law and Justice during the DISHA programme. Nyaya Setu is an Artificial Intelligence based legal assistant that works on a voice-first model and supports multiple languages. Its purpose is to help ordinary citizens understand laws and legal procedures in simple terms. The tool is expected to widen access to legal information, particularly for people who face language or literacy barriers in dealing with the justice system.
