Google has introduced India's first agricultural Artificial Intelligence models through the AnthroKrishi team of Google DeepMind. Agricultural Landscape Understanding (ALU) maps farm fields and supports land analysis. Agricultural Monitoring and Event Detection (AMED) tracks crop conditions, changes in land use and agricultural events on a large scale. Such models can help governments and farmers with planning, crop monitoring and targeted delivery of services.
