The India-CARICOM Foreign Ministers' Meeting was held in New York on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly. It followed the 2nd India-CARICOM (Caribbean Community) Summit held in Guyana in November 2024. Foreign Ministers of 12 CARICOM countries, representatives from Belize and the CARICOM Secretary-General attended. Talks covered trade and investment, agriculture and food security, digital governance, climate resilience and energy. Both sides agreed to cooperate on UN reforms, climate change, counter-terrorism and transnational crime, and CARICOM decided to support India's candidature for the UN Security Council term 2028–29.
