As per Bloomberg New Economy Forum's India Transition Factbook 2026, India is placed third worldwide when the clean hydrogen volumes contracted so far are added up. The country has secured binding deals for 3 lakh tonnes of clean hydrogen annually. In addition, India has entered into green ammonia export agreements whose combined volume tops 10 lakh tonnes a year. Together, these figures underline India's growing role in the clean fuel space.
