Notification No. 16/MRB/2025, dated 27.10.2025. 1,429 Health Inspector Grade-II posts (indicative), male candidates only. It replaced the withdrawn Notification 06/MRB/2023; earlier applicants did not have to pay again.

  • Online applications: 27.10.2025 to 16.11.2025.
  • Fee: Rs. 600 (Rs. 300 for SC/SCA/ST/differently abled).
  • Computer-based test on 07.12.2025 (Sunday), single session: Tamil Eligibility Test 9:00 to 10:00 AM, subject paper 10:15 AM to 12:15 PM.
  • Minimum marks: 35% (30% for SC/SCA/ST); Tamil test minimum 40%. COVID-19 duty incentive marks (2 to 5) for eligible candidates.
  • Provisional Selection List published on 13.01.2026.

Notification No. 17/MRB/2025, dated 21.11.2025. 1,100 Assistant Surgeon (General) posts (indicative; may change).

  • Online applications: 21.11.2025 to 11.12.2025.
  • Fee: Rs. 1,000 (Rs. 500 for SC/SCA/ST/differently abled).
  • Computer-based test: Medical Sciences paper of 100 questions (100 marks, 2 hours, English, MBBS level), no negative marking. Minimum 35% (30% for SC/SCA/ST).
  • Tamil Eligibility Test (SSLC standard, 50 marks, 1 hour): must score at least 40%; not counted for ranking.
  • No interview. The Provisional Selection List was published on 11.03.2026.
