N. Alim Yusuf has been honoured by the World-Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) for developing an artificial intelligence-based mobile app that can identify nearly 100 invasive plant species found in Kerala. The tool supports early detection of invasive plants, which threaten native vegetation, and thereby helps biodiversity conservation efforts in the State.
