Two international days were observed on 21 March 2026:
- World Down Syndrome Day: Marked every year to raise awareness about Down Syndrome. The 2026 theme is ‘Together Against Loneliness’.
- World Poetry Day: Celebrated worldwide to promote the reading, writing and sharing of poems and to support linguistic diversity.
