World Digestive Health Day (WDHD) is marked every year on 29 May to build awareness about digestive health and the prevention and treatment of digestive disorders. The theme chosen for 2026 is "Chronic Diarrhea: Don't Flush the Signs Away." The theme urges people not to ignore persistent diarrhoea, which can signal underlying conditions, and encourages timely medical consultation and diagnosis.
