Two UN-linked observances fall back to back in late April.
- World Creativity and Innovation Day – 21 April: Highlights how creativity and innovation contribute to sustainable development. The 2026 theme is "Harnessing Creativity for Global Progress".
- International Mother Earth Day – 22 April: Observed every year by the United Nations to encourage protection of the environment and sustainable development.
Both days are frequently asked in exams as part of the important days calendar, so note their dates and the 2026 theme.
