World Architecture Day is marked every year on the first Monday of October and fell on 5 October in 2026. It seeks to build awareness of the part architecture plays in society and in shaping human settlements. The theme for 2026 is "Housing is a Human Right. Build It.", which coincides with World Habitat Day observed on the same date.
