The first V4+India Foreign Ministers' Meeting took place in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session. It brought India together with Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, the four members of the Visegrád Group (V4). External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar took part under the Slovak Presidency of the V4. Talks covered trade, investment, technology, innovation, defence, security, connectivity, education and mobility. The new format offers an extra platform for dialogue between India and Central Europe.
