NPCI International Payments Limited (NIPL) has tied up with Uzbekistan's National Interbank Processing Centre (NIPC) to enable Unified Payments Interface (UPI) merchant payments in that country. Uzbekistan is now the 11th nation to accept UPI, after Singapore, the UAE, France, Mauritius, Nepal, Bhutan, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Cambodia and Greece.
