The United Nations Road Safety Fund has launched a Sustainable Road Safety Financing Project in Rajasthan, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Assam. The project is being carried out in partnership with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF. It focuses on building long-term, sustainable ways of funding road safety measures in the four States so that efforts to reduce road crashes do not depend on one-time grants.
