India has stepped into the next generation of wireless connectivity with TP-Link starting local manufacturing of Wi-Fi 7 devices in the country. Wi-Fi 7, whose official name is IEEE 802.11be, is the newest wireless networking standard. It supports speeds of up to 46 Gigabits per second (Gbps), which is close to 4.8 times faster than Wi-Fi 6. Domestic production of such devices strengthens India's electronics manufacturing base and brings advanced networking hardware closer to Indian users.
