Tamil Nadu unveiled India's first dedicated Deep Tech Startup Policy - the Tamil Nadu Deep Tech Startup Policy 2025-2026 (TNDTSP) - at UmagineTN 2026 in Chennai. The iTNT Hub is the nodal implementing agency. The policy targets support for 100 deep-tech start-ups, mobilising Rs 100 crore in public and private investment, 10 tech-transfer/licensing deals, and training over 10,000 students and professionals in AI, ML, robotics and biotechnology.
