Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay announced official vehicles and a monthly allowance of ₹1 lakh for Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs). Of this, ₹75,000 is meant for fuel, driver and vehicle expenses, while the remaining ₹25,000 is for hiring a personal assistant to support constituency work.
