Final polling data for the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections 2026 has been released. Of 5,73,43,291 electors, 4,87,98,833 voted on April 23 across 75,064 polling booths. Turnout was 86.2% among women, 83.96% among men and 58.45% among other-gender voters. Women who voted (2,52,59,596) outnumbered men (2,35,34,720), while 4,517 voters were from the other-gender category. The figures may rise once postal ballots of officials, police personnel, service voters and Form 12D voters, covering persons aged 85+ and persons with disabilities, are added.
