In the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2026, Singapore Airlines was rated the best airline in the world, with Qatar Airways in second place and Cathay Pacific third. Singapore Airlines also picked up the awards for Best First Class Comfort Amenities and Best Airline in Asia. Air India moved up sharply to 57th in the global list, from 84th in 2025, and was ranked the top carrier in the India and South Asia category. IndiGo, on the other hand, dropped to 61st place worldwide from 39th a year earlier, though it held second position among airlines of India and South Asia.
