The Union Health Minister launched the Secure AI for Health Initiative (SAHI) and the Benchmarking Open Data Platform for Health AI (BODH) at the India AI Impact Summit 2026. SAHI is a national governance framework for responsible AI in healthcare, focused on accountability, privacy and citizen safeguards. BODH lets AI health tools be tested and validated for safety and real-world performance before use. Both build on the National Health Policy 2017 and the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (2020).
