Save

A rare two-headed wolf snake was rescued at Agaswani village in Dhanpur taluka of Gujarat's Dahod district. The condition, called bicephaly, is a developmental abnormality. Wolf snakes belong to the genus Lycodon of the family Colubridae and are non-venomous. This is said to be the first recorded two-headed snake in Gujarat and the fifth such case reported in India.
