Qdenga, India's first approved dengue vaccine, expected in private market in first half of 2027

Qdenga, India's first approved dengue vaccine, received approval from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) in July 2026. It has been cleared for people aged 4 to 60 years. The vaccine is expected to reach the private market in the first half of 2027. Dengue is a mosquito-borne viral disease that causes large outbreaks in India every year, so a licensed vaccine is an important addition to prevention efforts.
