O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) has become the first Institution of Eminence (IoE) in India to be accredited by the Data Science Council of America (DASCA). DASCA is an international body that certifies data science programmes and professionals. The Institution of Eminence status is granted by the Union government to select universities to give them greater academic and administrative autonomy so they can compete with leading global institutions.
