Odisha announced at Wings India 2026 that a National UAV Test and Innovation Corridor will be developed at Rangeilunda Airport. It will be the first operational commercial airport in India to be turned into a live drone-testing facility. The project is aligned with the B-MAAN (Building Mobility and Advanced Air Mobility Network) scheme. Odisha also opened India's first Flat Rolled Products aluminium unit at the Aditya Aluminium complex in Sambalpur district.
