Eighty-eight countries and international bodies endorsed the New Delhi Declaration at the India AI Impact Summit 2026. The voluntary, non-binding declaration backs democratic diffusion of AI and proposes a Global AI Impact Commons of use cases and a Trusted AI Commons of tools and benchmarks. The summit drew over US$250 billion in infrastructure commitments and India Inc deals above US$300 billion, including Reliance's ₹10 lakh crore AI plan, a 100 MW OpenAI-Tata data-centre lease, an Anthropic-Infosys pact and Yotta's US$2 billion GPU investment. The next summits will be in Geneva (2027) and the UAE (2028).
