The Department of Posts (DoP) is marking National Postal Week from 9 to 15 October 2026. The week opened with World Post Day on 9 October, whose 2026 theme is “One Postal Network, Infinite Possibilities.” The celebrations showcase how India Post links citizens across the country, advances financial inclusion and widens access to postal services. Initiatives such as N-Gen Post Offices and Jan Sewa Connect Post Offices aim to create modern, inclusive service spaces, while the Dak Sewa App and Dak Mitra App bring postal services to people through digital platforms for greater convenience.
