IIT Bombay hosted the National Conference on Quantum Biotechnology 2026 to promote the use of quantum technology in life sciences and healthcare. Sessions covered diagnostics, biomedical imaging, drug discovery, precision medicine and biosensing, along with quantum biology, quantum biosensors and moving biosensing tools from labs to industry. The QMet Tech Foundation at IIT Bombay is the thematic hub for Quantum Sensing and Metrology under the National Quantum Mission, supported by the Department of Science and Technology.
