Mongolia's President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh expressed gratitude to India for backing the building of his country's first oil refinery. The refinery is coming up in Altanshiree Soum of Dornogobi Province. Once ready, it is expected to let Mongolia make fuel at home and cut its reliance on imports, making the project a visible part of India–Mongolia development cooperation.
