The Central Asian Conservation Network (CACN) has rolled out the Central Asian Flyway Digital Hub, an online platform meant to aid the protection of migratory birds. The hub brings together details on bird species, key stopover and migration sites, ongoing conservation projects and learning material. A Bird Collision Reporting Portal lets users log deaths and injuries of birds caused by infrastructure. A separate Ringing and Resighting Portal records sightings of tagged birds, helping researchers trace their migration paths. The platform also offers awareness content aimed at students, teachers, local communities and birdwatchers, so that more people can take part in tracking and protecting birds along the flyway.
