The Tamil Nadu government has appointed K. Venkata Narayana as the State's Special Representative in New Delhi.
The Special Representative acts as a link between the State government and the Union Ministries. The role involves coordinating with Union departments and following up on matters such as infrastructure, finance, development projects and policy issues that concern Tamil Nadu, helping the State pursue its interests at the national capital.
