The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has launched the National Climate Stack Innovation Challenge. The initiative seeks to build a National Climate Stack that brings various climate datasets together on a single digital platform. Such a system is expected to sharpen forecasts of climate hazards including droughts, floods, heatwaves and cyclones. It will also aid agricultural planning, rural finance, disaster preparedness and evidence-based public policy.
