Mother Dairy has introduced what it calls India's first naturally degradable milk pouch, launched ahead of World Environment Day 2026, which is observed on 5 June. The new packaging is meant to cut the plastic waste generated by the huge daily volume of milk sold in pouches across the country. World Environment Day 2026 carries the theme "Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future."
