External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar co-chaired the L.69 Consultative Ministerial Interaction on United Nations Security Council (UNSC) reform in New York with Saint Lucia's Foreign Minister Alva Baptiste. The L.69 Group is a cross-regional coalition of more than 30 developing countries from Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean and the Pacific, including Small Island Developing States, pressing for urgent and comprehensive reform of the UNSC. The C-10 is an African Union group of 10 countries promoting the Common African Position. India coordinates with L.69 and C-10, and also works through the G4 (India, Brazil, Germany, Japan).
