ISRO has successfully carried out a sea-level hot test of its CE20 cryogenic engine at a thrust level of 22 tonnes. The CE20 powers the C25 cryogenic upper stage of the Launch Vehicle Mark-3 (LVM3), India's heavy-lift rocket. The successful test at this thrust level under sea-level conditions marks an important step in qualifying the engine's upgraded performance.
