Save

Every 15 February, International Childhood Cancer Day encourages early detection and fair access to treatment. The International Confederation of Childhood Cancer Parent Organizations first recognised the day in 2002. More than 400,000 children and adolescents receive a cancer diagnosis annually, and the WHO has set a goal of at least 60% survival by 2030. The 2026 theme is 'Demonstrating Impact — From Challenge to Change.' On 17 February, Global Tourism Resilience Day was observed with the 2026 theme 'Tourism Resilience in Action: From Crisis Response to Impactful Transformation'.
