The government released the Atlas of Climate Adaptation in Indian Agriculture (ACASA-India). ICAR's research and extension network prepared it with the Borlaug Institute for South Asia (part of CIMMYT). It gives location-specific, data-based advice to help farmers deal with climate risks, and it helps governments decide where to invest in climate resilience. About 57% of rural households depend on farming, and 51% of net sown area is rainfed.
