India hosted the 8th BRICS Heads of Prosecution Services Meeting, organised by the Department of Legal Affairs under the Ministry of Law and Justice. The meeting gave the heads of prosecution services of member countries a platform to share best practices. Discussions centred on improving the effectiveness of prosecution, strengthening adjudication and building public trust in the justice delivery system.
