India and Japan held talks in New Delhi on deepening cooperation in critical mineral supply chains and e-waste recycling. The focus was on resource circulation to secure critical mineral supplies and lower reliance on scarce primary resources. Both sides also explored ways to advance e-waste recycling, which can recover valuable materials from discarded electronics. The partnership is intended to support a sustainable, circular economy and strengthen environmental cooperation between the two countries.
