IN-SPACe approved India's first fully commercial indigenous Earth Observation (EO) satellite constellation under the Public-Private Partnership model. The consortium, Allied Orbits Private Limited, is led by Pixxel Space India and includes Dhruva Space, PierSight Space and SatSure Analytics India. It will invest over ₹1,200 crore to build and operate 12 satellites by 2029, offering panchromatic, multispectral, hyperspectral and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery. All satellites will be made in India and launched on Indian rockets.
