India has endorsed the consensus outcomes of the G20 Energy Abundance Ministerial adopted in Houston. They cover household energy access, faster infrastructure approvals, water reuse and critical-mineral supply chains. LPG was recognised as a transitional fuel to widen access to cleaner household energy. The outcomes back streamlined, predictable approvals for energy and infrastructure projects, a voluntary framework for safe, purpose-specific water reuse in energy, agriculture and manufacturing, and diversified, secure critical-mineral supply chains. They are voluntary and non-binding.
