At the Critical Minerals Ministerial in Washington DC, India extended support to FORGE (Forum on Resource, Geostrategic Engagement), the successor to the US-led Mineral Security Partnership. The grouping seeks to secure supplies of critical minerals and reduce excessive dependence on China for rare earths, lithium, cobalt and nickel by de-risking global supply chains. India showcased its own measures, including the National Critical Minerals Mission and the planned Rare Earth Corridors.
