Madhya Pradesh's Gandhi Sagar Wildlife Sanctuary, being developed as India's second home for cheetahs, has received a new female cheetah from Botswana. The sanctuary, about 300 km from Kuno National Park — the ground zero of Project Cheetah — already houses two male cheetahs. A third cheetah home is being prepared at Nauradehi Wildlife Sanctuary, part of the Rani Durgawati Tiger Reserve spread over Sagar, Damoh and Narsinghpur districts.
