The Tamil Nadu Government has appointed Felix Gerald as Chairman of the Tamil Nadu State Minorities Commission.
The Commission works to safeguard the rights and interests of religious and linguistic minorities in the State, examines their grievances and advises the government on welfare measures for minority communities.
