The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has successfully carried out three flight trials of the Very Short-Range Air Defence System (VSHORADS) missile from Chandipur in Odisha. - VSHORADS is designed to engage aerial threats at very short ranges, forming the innermost layer of air defence.
