The Indian Navy and the United Kingdom's Royal Navy carried out Exercise KONKAN 2026, their annual bilateral maritime exercise, in waters off Plymouth in the United Kingdom. The KONKAN series is held every year between the two navies and helps them practise operating together at sea, exchange professional experience and improve interoperability. The exercise reflects the growing defence partnership between India and the UK, particularly in maritime security, and builds mutual understanding between the two forces for joint operations.
