The Tamil Nadu Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Corporation (TNUAVC) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Zuppa Geo Navigation Technologies. Through this agreement, the two organisations will jointly design a drone pilot training course that carries certification from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The programme is intended for Agniveers as well as other defence personnel, giving them formally recognised skills in flying unmanned aerial vehicles. The tie-up links a State-owned drone corporation with a private navigation technology firm to build trained drone operators for the armed forces.
